Boxing Day: Saw myself on TV in BBC Costume Drama The Young Visitors!

16-12-03: Filmed 4 days as a Nurse in Casualty.

01-12-03: Welsh Passion published in the New Welsh Review.

12-11-03: Edited Sweet Experience and checked proof for The London Magazine.

October

13-10-03: Week off work. Sent article ideas to various magazines and worked on                 Through Eyes of Sinners.

September

30-9-03: My article Starstruck about my experience filming Vanity Fair is

             accepted for publication in Peninsular magazine.

19-9-03: Filmed Casualty. Played a mourner at a funeral.

09-9-03: Plucked comes 9th in Coast to Coast International Writing Competition.

 

August

15-8-03: Interviewed Greg Cullen for New Welsh Review article.

07-8-03: Sands of Time is runner up in Acorn Magazine competition.

01-8-03: Commissioned to write an article on playwright Greg Cullen for the New

             Welsh Review.

July

29-7-03: Filmed The Young Vistors (BBC) at Syon Park, London.  Call time 6am,

             wrapped at 7:30pm after one rehearsal and two takes of the Polka.

             I can't dance! Showing on Christmas Day.

20-7-03: Drove to Royal Victoria Docks, London for a days filming on The

                Guardian, a new TV series.  In the background driving my car.

17-7-03: Destiny is published in Peninsular Magazine.

04-7-03: Short story Blood Love is placed 10th in Coast to Coast International

             Writing Competition.

03-7-03: Filmed Vanity Fair at Wrotham Park.  I was one of six Supporting       

             Artists playing 18th Century ladies known as 'Swans' in a scene with

             Reese Witherspoon as Becky Sharp.  In hair and makeup for 3 hours,

             filming for another eleven. A crazy, long, unforgettable day!

June

30-6-03: Pure Sin is published on UKAuthors, under nickname Kactus.

23-6-03: 2244 AD baton story wins Orange Labyrinth Competition 8.  My

                extract (#5) wins share of £1000 prize money.

20-6-03: Short story Where Waves Caress accepted by Acorn Magazine.

13-6-03: My 500 word extract ended Baton Story 5: 2044

Short story Playing With Fire is published on UKAuthors website.

May

30-5-03: 300 word extract published for Baton Story 2: 1244.

My short story Sweet Experience is due to be published in The London Magazine, Autumn/Winter 2003.

19-5-03: 300 word extract commended for Baton Story 3: 1744.

14-5-03: 100 word extract published in Baton Story 3: 1744 on Orange Labyrinth

30-4-03: 100 word extract commended, this time for Baton Story 3: 1744 on              the Orange Labyrinth website.

28-4-03: 100 word extract commended (again!) for Baton Story 1: 44BC on               the Orange Labyrinth website.

24-4-03: 100 word extract commended for Baton Story 1: 44BC

22-4-03: 250 word extract published on Orange Labyrinth website for their                    ongoing competition. Baton Story 6: 2244AD

First week in April - My short story Destiny has been accepted by Peninsular Magazine.
